BELL BIO
May God bless you precious ones in HIS love and joy. I thank my
GOD that HE has afforded me the opportunity to pastor the most wonderful
congregation in the world. In my tenure as pastor, I have encountered
a wide range of situations that have helped me develop and mature
as a pastor.
This development has come with great enthusiasm and joy. The success
that we have achieved as a church could not have been accomplished
without first, "God’s Grace". His grace is that
unmerited favor that we do not deserve, but we do thank HIM for
it.
Second, we could not realize our success as a church without those
souls that serve in ministry. Souls' serving in ministry has been
one of the premiere goals we have urged in these five years. For
we are not saved to sit, but have been saved to serve. Serving others
is one of the ways that we serve GOD.
With not only "God’s Grace" and "'Souls Serving",
but our present success can be contributed to a third source, "People
Praying". Charles Haddon Spurgeon a renowned preacher and pastor
of the late 1800's and early 1900's in London, England was deemed
the first mega-church pastor. Brother Spurgeon preached at times
to crowds of over twenty thousand without a microphone. Pastor Spurgeon
was asked the source of his success, he replied; "My success
comes because I have people who pray for me." Things can happen
when people pray, but things also can happen when people do not
pray. Prayer has certainly been the foundation of our success. "God’s
Grace", "Souls Serving", "People Praying",
and finally, "Lots of Love".
Fourth, love is the binding element that holds everything together,
"For it is with loving kindness have I drawn thee." Jeremiah
31:03. Love is that commandment that we are to keep. "Love
GOD with everything you have and everything you are and then love
your neighbors as yourself. On these two hang all law and the prophets”.
Our future looks good as we continue on this same track, GOD has
blessed us to secure 7.3 acres of land, which will be our new church
campus in the near future. This land will house our family life
center, “The Bethel Dome” and our new worship facility.
“If we have faith as a grain of mustard seed, we shall say
unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove;
and nothing shall be impossible unto us.”
Matthew 17:20. |
